Exotic Electro-Optics Awarded $2.2 Million

Exotic Electro-Optics Inc. of Murrieta, Calif., a subsidiary of II-VI Inc. of Saxonburg, Pa., has received a $2.2 million follow-on award from the Air Force Research Laboratory through the University of Dayton, both in Ohio. The company intends to use the funds, disbursed under the Joint Strike Fighter program, to continue research and development on large-area sapphire panels.Read full article
