Osram Opto Semiconductors has launched the online Light Shop, which offers a full line of LED products for developers, architects, academic researchers, lighting planners and others who require smaller quantities of the semiconductor products. It enables users to purchase and become familiar with devices in the company’s portfolio, including IR components, semiconductor lasers, and organic LED and LED displays. Clicking on “Buy Here” will take users to the Web sites of sales partners, including RS Components Ltd., serving Europe and Asia, and Digi-Key Corp., for the North American Free Trade Area, both of which are prepared to handle small-volume purchases.
