L-3 Communications of New York announced that Ralph G. D’Ambrosio has been named CFO, effective today. The position was previously held by Michael T. Strianese, who is now the company's president and CEO. D'Ambrosio joined L-3 Communications' finance department in Aug. 1997, and has served in various roles, most recently as vice president of finance and principal accounting officer. Prior to joining L-3 Communications he was a senior manager in the accounting and auditing department at Coopers & Lybrand LLP.
