Tamar Receives Grant

The National Science Foundation has awarded Tamar Technology of Newbury Park, Calif., a grant to develop a measurement device for semiconductor silicon wafers. Tamar hopes to create a system that can take direct, one-point measurements of wafer thickness and that can assess the depth of etched trenches on their surfaces in a nondestructive manner for quality control applications.
