A trifold brochure from Intertech-Pira titled “Latest developments in lighting and display technologies” showcases studies of three technologies, including organic OLEDs, and discusses materials, manufacturing methods, and current and future markets and applications. The study of LEDs for lighting considers material advances, the outlook for white LEDs and new applications in signage, rail and traffic signals, and automotive and marine lighting. The examination of LCDs focuses on materials and device properties, improvements in the technology, manufacturing processes and future trends, including flexible and 3-D displays.
