Agilent Technologies Names New Corporate Development VP

Measurement company Agilent Technologies Inc. of Santa Clara, Calif., announced that Shiela Robertson has been named to succeed John Eaton as vice president, Corporate Development. Eaton, who has held the position since Agilent's creation in 1999 and led the 2001 divestiture of the Healthcare Products Group, the 2005 sales of the Semiconductor Products Group and Lumileds, and the 2006 IPO and spin off of Verigy, is retiring on April 30 after 23 years with Agilent and the Hewlett-Packard Co.
