STOCK OPTICS
The “Stock Parts List 2007” from Meller Optics Inc. specifies the company’s overrun optics, which are available in a wide variety of materials, sizes and configurations. The list, targeted to designers, provides an option for obtaining customized parts. More than 1000 sapphire optics are itemized, along with more than 1500 parts in materials such as BaF2, CaF2, ZnSe, silicon, germanium, laser glasses, and fused and crystalline quartz. Among the devices are round, square, rectangular, flat and wedge-shaped windows, lenses and mirrors, many of which have critically tight surface specifications for power and irregularity.
