NANOPARTICLES
Alfa Aesar, a Johnson Matthey company, has released an updated brochure titled “Nanoparticles and Dispersions: Exploring the Possibilities.” Downloadable from the company’s Web site, the document includes expanded offerings of pure metal and alloy nanoparticles and Nanophase brand metal oxide nanoparticles and dispersions. Alfa Aesar is the sole global distributor of research and development quantities for a group of raw nanoparticles and dispersions manufactured by Nanophase Technologies Corp. Providing illustrations, the document discusses the physical vapor and NanoArc synthesis techniques. It notes that the nanomaterials produced by the processes consist of discrete, fully dense particles of defined crystallinity.
