The Fox Group Inc., based in Deer Park, N.Y., and Montreal, has selected Opton Laser International of Orsay, France, as the exclusive distributor of its LED lines in France. The French company will sell and provide design support for Fox Group’s UV and blue LEDs, including 350-, 360- and 420-nm peak wavelengths, all of which are available in the form of epitaxial wafers, dies (LED chips) and packaged LEDs. Opton Laser serves customers in the medical, automotive, curing, forensics, biophotonics and defense sectors.
