Jenoptik GmbH announced that RPMC Lasers Inc. of O'Fallon, Mo., will be the US distributor for its product line, including unmounted diode-laser bars and single emitters; CS (conduction cooled) packages; vertical and horizontal stacks; high-power, fiber-coupled modules; and high-brightness fiber-coupled modules. Jenoptik said RPMC will work closely with its Diode Laser Group, comprised of Jena, Germany-based Jenoptik Laserdiode GmbH, Jenoptik unique-mode GmbH and Jenoptik Diode Lab GmbH, based in Berlin-Adlershof, to target sales in the US market. The group also has distributors in Japan, China, France, Italy and Israel. RPMC also handles global sales and marketing for laser diode maker LDX Optronics of Mayville, Tenn., distributes picosecond laser products in North American for Lumera Laser GmbH and represents other laser product manufacturers.
