MBE Innovator Award Nominations Sought

Nominations for the 2007 MBE Innovator Award are sought by its co-sponsors, North American Molecular Beam Epitaxy (NAMBE) conference organizers, and Veeco Instruments Inc., a St. Paul, Minn., maker of metrology products. The award recognizes those whose innovations have significantly advanced the field of molecular beam epitaxy. Nominations are open to universities, government organizations or commercial companies worldwide. Winners will be selected by the NAMBE Advisory Committee. The award -- a $3000 honorarium and a plaque -- will be presented at NAMBE, to be held Sept. 23-25 at the University of New Mexico, Albuquerque. The submission deadline is Aug. 15.
