Carl Zeiss SMT Moves HQ to Peabody, Mass.

Carl Zeiss SMT Inc., a provider of electron- and ion-beam imaging and analysis equipment and services, recently moved its North American headquarters from Thornwood, N.Y., to Peabody, Mass., near Boston, as part of its integration of Alis Corp., a startup developer of helium ion microscopy it acquired in 2006.
