OSA Seeks Student Award Papers

WASHINGTON, July 27, 2007 -- Oct. 9 is the deadline for submissions to the Corning Outstanding Student Paper Awards, which will debut at the 2008 Optical Fiber Communication Conference and Exposition/National Fiber Optic Engineers Conference (OFC/NFOEC), Feb. 24-28 at the San Diego Convention Center in San Diego, Calif. The award competition from Corning Inc., made possible through an endowment from the OSA Foundation, will recognize future leaders in optical communications.
