Daniele Fadina Named Pirelli Broadband Sales VP
Daniele Fadini has been named senior vice president of sales, optical components and modules, at Pirelli Broadband Solutions, the Milan, Italy-based broadband access and photonics company within the Pirelli Group. Fadini will be responsible for products including dynamically tunable lasers, integrable tunable laser assembly modules, dense wavelength division multiplex (DWDM) tunable transponders and 10 Gb/s DWDM transceivers. Fadini was most recently senior director of sales, Europe & Middle East, at Avanex Corp., where he was responsible for sales of optical components, modules and subsystems to telecommunications systems manufacturers, carriers and OEMs. Before joining Avanex, he held management positions at Corning Optical Technologies.
