Intematix Launches Technology Center in Taiwan
Intematix Corp. of Fremont, Calif., a supplier of phosphors for solid-state lighting applications, has launched the Intematix Technology Center in Yang Mei, Taiwan. The unit will serve as a marketing and sales arm for phosphors and other components from Intematix’s partners in the Chinese market. With direct access to components, the center will provide LED packagers with the materials necessary for rapid prototyping and deployment of phosphor-based solid-state lighting products. It also includes full-service integration and pilot production capability for chip-on-board and integrated light engines/modules.
