Gemfire and Covega Have Merged

Gemfire Corp. of Fremont, Calif., has completed its merger with Covega Corp. of Jessup, Md., a provider of indium-phosphide and lithium-niobate components and modules for the telecommunications, industrial, medical, and test and measurement industries. The Maryland company will become a wholly owned subsidiary and the active component division of Gemfire’s planar light circuit product family.Read full article
