GENEVA -- Princeton Lightwave Inc. of Cranbury, N.J., USA, and id Quantique sa will collaborate to develop a single-photon-counting module optimized for 1064 nm. The device will combine an avalanche photodiode with integrated biasing and quenching electronics, and it will target applications in the fields of free space quantum key distribution, remote sensing and spectroscopy.
