Touch International Acquires LCD Assets
In Austin, Texas, Touch International Inc. has acquired the specialized LCD enhancement assets of DuPont Display Enhancements Inc. of Torrance, Calif. In addition, the Texas company will license DuPont’s Vertak bonding technology, using the adhesive to offer optical bonding to its customers. The company will offer customers integrated touch screen, electromagnetic interference filter and optically bonded display manufacturing and will maintain operations from the Torrance site as Touch International Display Enhancements Corp.
