Lumencor Inc. of Beaverton, Ore., has been awarded a Small Business Innovation Research grant, worth $102,425, by the NIH. The grant will fund the company’s development of a light engine designed to assist the manufacturers of life sciences instruments as well as scientists and clinicians by improving the quality of their analytical instruments and their research and diagnostic outcomes.
