Oerlikon Space AG of Zurich, Switzerland, has joined the supply chain of Carl Zeiss SMT AG. The Swiss company provides Zeiss with lubricant-free shutter components for lithography optics. Oerlikon’s designation as Supply Chain Partner is the first for a mechatronic components maker and required the company to undergo a qualification process
