Siemens Medical Solutions USA Inc. of Malvern, Pa., has received FDA 510(k) market clearance for its Somatom Definition AS adaptive CT scanner. The system, which adapts for dose protection and new dimensions as well as to the patient’s and the user’s space, has been installed in the Charleston-based Medical University of South Carolina.
