Alfa Aesar, A Johnson Matthey company, has published a 104-page catalog titled “High Purity Organics,” which presents more than 1000 materials, including base metal and rare earth compounds, and ultradry substances for air- and moisture-sensitive applications. It includes the Puratronic base metal salts, which are used by pharmaceutical and electronic manufacturers. The inorganics are the starting materials in applications such as lasers, optics, lighting, crystal growth, and coating and deposition.
