Lightwave Logic Hires Cocuzza
Lightwave Logic Inc. of Newark, Del., a developer of electro-optic polymer materials for applications in high-speed fiber optic telecommunications and optical computing, has announced the addition of Anthony J. Cocuzza to its technology team. Cocuzza worked for 30 years in medicinal chemistry and brings synthetic and analytical skills to the company. His experience in organic synthesis will help to streamline the preparation and scale-up of its Perkinamine line of materials, Lightwave said.
- The technology of generating and harnessing light and other forms of radiant energy whose quantum unit is the photon. The science includes light emission, transmission, deflection, amplification and detection by optical components and instruments, lasers and other light sources, fiber optics, electro-optical instrumentation, related hardware and electronics, and sophisticated systems. The range of applications of photonics extends from energy generation to detection to communications and...
