Space Imaging Forms Japanese Partnership

DENVER, Colo., April 5 -- Space Imaging announced today that it has signed an agreement with Japan's National Space Development Agency (NASDA) that allows NASDA to receive and process satellite imagery collected by the Indian Remote Sensing (IRS) satellites. The agreement gives NASDA exclusive rights to distribute the imagery it receives in Japan, and non-exclusive distribution rights for those countries inside its footprint -- parts of Russia, China, Mongolia, North and South Korea, Vietnam and the Philippines.
