Buying and selling shares outweighs patenting

According to a study performed by researchers at the California Institute of Technology, more people consider buying and selling components within a market than developing an entire intellectual discovery themselves and patenting it. The reason is that confidence is a principal factor when patenting an idea, and most people don’t believe their ideas are superior to those of the majority.
