Lucid Inc. of Rochester, N.Y., has formed an association of diagnostic reading professionals to provide image-reading services to private European dermatology practices. Specifically, the readers will assess the performance of the company’s VivaScope in vivo confocal imaging technology in skin cancer and inflammatory disease diagnosis applications. Members of the association come from Ramón y Cajal Hospital in Madrid and from Hospital Clinic of Barcelona, both in Spain, from Medical University Graz in Austria, from the University of Modena and Reggio Emilia in Italy, from San Gallicano Dermatological Institute in Rome and from University Hospital Zürich in Switzerland. The professionals will share and manage clinical data electronically using the American concern’s VivaNet telemedicine information system.
