The FDA has granted 510(k) clearance to Iridex Corp. of Mountain View, Calif., a light-based medical systems and delivery device provider, for its IQ family of laser systems. The product line includes 532-, 577- and 810-nm systems that produce energy in CW-Pulse, MicroPulse or LongPulse mode for applications such as ophthalmology, otolaryngology and dermatology.
