BioTek Instruments Inc. of Winooski, Vt., a microplate instrumentation and software provider, has signed an agreement with Gyrasol Technologies of Santa Fe, N.M., which specializes in pharmaceutical analysis. The companies will jointly promote the application of Gyrasol’s sensor fluorescence-based assay platform for the identification of ATP- or substrate-competitive inhibitors with BioTek’s Synergy 4 hybrid technology multimode microplate reader, which combines filter-based and flexible quadruple monochromator-based fluorescence detection technology in a compact unit.
