A consortium of 18 European partners — including Toptica Photonics AG of Munich and Time Bandwidth AG of Zurich, Switzerland, and led by the University of Dundee in the UK — has been granted h10.1 million to fund a four-year project to develop biomedical lasers. The group, FAST-DOT, will work to create smaller, more efficient lasers for use in microscopy and nanosurgery.
