NanoDrop Technologies Inc. of Wilmington, Del., has been acquired by Thermo Fisher Scientific of Waltham, Mass. The purchase will increase the latter company’s portfolio of ultraviolet and visible spectrophotometers, adding devices that use very small sample volumes for DNA and protein measurements.
