Wyeth Pharmaceuticals of Madison, N.J., has agreed to use an imaging agent produced by Siemens Medical Solutions of Hoffman Estates, Ill., in clinical studies of Alzheimer’s disease therapies. When used with PET, the agent can aid in the identification of Alzheimer’s-related amyloid plaques and neuronal tangles in the brain.
