A $390,000 Small Business Innovation Research grant from the National Institutes of Health has been awarded to Carbon Design Innovations Inc. of Burlingame, Calif. The funding will further the company’s development and commercialization of carbon nanotube atomic force microscope probes, which have applications in cellular biology investigations and bioimaging.
