Trumpf Group of Ditzingen, Germany, has expanded its medical technology division in the US with the purchase of a $6 million facility in Charleston, S.C. Headquartered next to the city’s Cooper River, the 2500-sq-m facility will host the sales, service and manufacturing divisions of the company. Approximately 30 new jobs are planned for the next three years. If necessary, the building may be expanded up to 4600 sq m.
