Fluorescence in vivo imaging provider VisEn Medical Inc. of Bedford, Mass., has announced that it has acquired the fluorescence imaging agent intellectual property portfolios and related technology platforms of Bayer Schering Pharma AG of Berlin. The transaction includes more than 45 issued patents worldwide, covering a range of fluorescence agent constructs and imaging methods, and consolidates VisEn’s patent and technology leadership position in the fluorescence imaging market.
