QD Vision Takes Silver at Edisons

WATERTOWN, Mass., May 14, 2010 — QD Vision, a developer of Quantum Light nanotechnology-based products for solid-state lighting and displays, took home the silver medal at this year’s Edison Best New Product Awards for its Quantum Light optic in the Energy and Sustainability awards category. The Quantum Light optic enables LED lighting companies to produce lamps and downlight fixtures that combine the pleasing warmth and color of incandescent bulbs with the energy efficiency of LED technology.
