To enhance its laser presence in the UK, Ireland and northern Europe, JP Sercel Associates Inc. (JPSA) has announced the appointment of AGK-World as its business development consultant.

AGK-World was founded by Alex Kader, a business development veteran with more than 28 years in the semiconductor industry. His experience ranges from equipment sales to business development in IC assembly and test. Most recently, he has delved into the emerging LED and photovoltaic manufacturing sectors.

Kader’s experience will benefit JPSA’s expansion of technology for the manufacture of high-brightness LEDs and for laser patterning or scribing for thin-film solar.

Focusing on core competence, strengthening customer relationships and ensuring customer satisfaction, AGK-World has headed teams with customers throughout Scandinavia, Europe, the Asia-Pacific and the Middle East.

JPSA provides state-of-the-art excimer and diode-pumped solid-state (DPSS) industrial laser machining systems that operate at wavelengths of 157 to 1064 nm.
