Fluorescence filter sets
A multimedia catalog titled “Precision Optical
Filters for Fluorescence Microscopy” has been released by Omega Optical Inc.
on compact disc. It introduces the QuantaMax line of stable, durable, high-signal-to-noise
sets, and new filter sets for fluorescent protein and FRET applications, complementing
a variety of dye-specific sets for single- and multilabel microscopy applications.
The catalog includes an image gallery, live-cell movies, fluorescence image screen
savers and links to Web tools such as the Curvomatic database of fluorophores and
filter spectra, and the Build-A-Filter specification and quoting tool for custom
filters. Application notes, a fluorophore reference table, and light source and
