Olympus America Licenses Patents to BioImagene

CENTER VALLEY, Pa., July 26, 2010 — BioImagene Inc. and Olympus America Inc. have signed a nonexclusive worldwide licensing agreement that allows BioImagene to access Olympus’ patent portfolio in the field of digital pathology and virtual microscopy. The license is the most recent that Olympus has granted for the technologies, which are critical for developing future digital imaging and data handling systems for pathology.
