GE Lighting, a unit of General Electric Co.’s Appliances & Lighting business, and Los Altos, Calif.-based Rambus Inc. have signed a broad licensing agreement for the use of the latter’s patented lighting innovations, including its product reference designs and manufacturing process know-how. The initial focus of the agreement will be to create for the global market a flat panel LED lighting system for architectural and commercial lighting applications.
