Tokyo-based Olympus has relocated its headquarters for the Americas from Melville, N.Y., to Center Valley, Pa. The commonwealth used economic incentive programs to attract the company, and the opening of the 337,400-sq-ft building was attended by Pennsylvania government officials as well as by officers from Olympus Corp., Olympus America Inc. and Olympus Imaging Corp. The new office expects to employ about 600 people by the end of 2006 but can accommodate up to 1000.
