PerkinElmer Inc. of Wellesley, Mass., has announced two multiyear partnerships with Johns Hopkins University of Baltimore and with the University of Birmingham in the UK. Centered on PerkinElmer’s BioXpression high-throughput biomarker discovery and identification platform, the partnerships will focus on research and development of tools and technologies for the discovery of low-abundance biomarkers that could be used to test blood for various cancers.
