Mercury Computer Systems Inc. of Chelmsford, Mass., will partner with FPS France of Rungis, France, Color Printer Systems of Germany and Medical Imaging PACS Pty Ltd. of Brisbane, Australia. The partnership aims to improve Mercury’s position in the picture archiving and communications systems market.

The company also has announced a no-cost licensing agreement with Pfizer of New York for Pfizer’s MoViT software. The software will be used to support the nonprofit organization Medicines for Malaria Venture and to investigate new medicines for malaria treatment and prevention by designing compounds that can overcome the resistance to antifolate drugs that the malaria protozoa have developed.
