Applied Imaging Corp. of San Jose, Calif., has been accepted to collaborate in Dismal(1), a three-year cancer research project funded by the European Union. Participating researchers aim to improve the detection of disseminated tumor cells. The company will develop scanning hardware and software based on its Ariol automated imaging and image analysis technology.
