Zygo Gets $3.5M Large Optics Test Systems Order

MIDDLEFIELD, Conn., Oct. 8, 2010 — Zygo Corp., a worldwide supplier of optical metrology instruments and high precision optical systems, announced that its Metrology Solutions Division has received orders for $3.5 million for large aperture laser interferometer systems from several Chinese optical research and manufacturing organizations. The large aperture interferometers include systems capable of measuring up to 32 in (800 mm) diameter parts and another capable of 18 in (450 mm) diameter components, along with an upgrade of an existing Zygo 24 in (600 mm) interferometer system.
