Raydiance Wins $1.7M Ultrafast Laser Contracts

PETALUMA, Calif., Nov 08, 2010 — Raydiance Inc. announced today that it has been awarded three competitive government contracts totaling $1.75 million to develop technologies with the express goal of delivering high-power fiber ultrafast laser capabilities. The contracts, awarded by the National Science Foundation (NSF) and the US Navy, focus on three critical areas — novel optical amplification techniques, pulse compressor technology and advanced optical fibers.
