Distributor Partnership

Laser Components (UK) Ltd. of Chelmsford has announced a distributor partnership with Peabody, Mass.-based SemiNex Corp. The UK business will distribute the US company’s long-wavelength, high-power laser diodes at 14xx and 15xx wavelengths. The chips are available in standard packages that include a compact fiber-coupled module and a C-, B- or submount. Laser Components specializes in the optoelectronics and laser industries.

A standard lens interface initially made for 16mm movie cameras and now used primarily on closed-circuit television cameras. It is a 1-in.-diameter, 32-thread-per-inch interface with a flange-to-image plane distance of 0.69 in.
