Flexible Electronics Collaboration

Photonics Spectra
Dec 2010
Coherent Inc. of Santa Clara, Calif., and the Holst Centre of Eindhoven, the Netherlands, have joined forces in the field of flexible electronics, expanding the scientific research and development facility’s current focus on integration technologies. The collaboration will involve adding a picosecond laser source to the electronic foils processing equipment for laser ablation in sheet-to-sheet production of organic LEDs and organic photovoltaic devices. The Holst Center, which partners with industry and academia, is an initiative of IMEC of Belgium and TNO of the Netherlands.
