Newly Designed LED Tubelight

Dec. 13, 2010 — I was recently contacted by Jeff, the export manager of HCC Technology, based in Baoan, Shenzhen, in mainland China. According to the company, it has recently introduced a newly designed LED T8 tube lighting, which it calls as the B-type LED tube.

Model HCC-T812-SS20-03N is a 4-ft, 1200 × 30-mm tube. This tube boasts a structure that is half aluminum and half PC tube. The supplier claims that this LED tube can easily pass the 2960-V high-pot test.

The supplier has made use of "D" type aluminum base. It is based on HCC's special design, which the company claims allows the LED tube to really have a good heat dissipating ability.

For the B-type LED tube lighting, HCC offers a four-year warranty. The B-type LED tube lighting has CE and FCC certifications, and has passed the TUV test. It is said to be ROHS compliant.

Each one of HCCS' LED tubes has a white box that offers good protection for the B-type LED T8 tube. According to the supplier, a 15-W tube can easily replace the traditional 36- and 40-W fluorescent tubes, saving 60-70 percent of energy.

HCC is also offering a 22-W, 2400 lm LED T8 retrofit fluorescent tube lighting lamp, model HCC-T818-SS22-03. It uses 432 pieces of LEDs, and has a dimension of 1800 × 30 mm. The luminous flux is 2350-2500-2600LM, and the color temperature is 3000-3500 K (WW); 5000-6000 K (PW); 6500 K+(CW). This LED tube has a lifespan of 50,000 to 80,000 hours.

HCC has exclusive agents in Belgium, Cyprus, New Zealand and Australia.
