IP Expert Joins Tessera Board
SAN JOSE, Calif., April 1, 2011 — Kevin Rivette has joined the board of directors at Tessera Technologies Inc., it announced recently.
Rivette is the current managing partner of 3LP Advisors Inc., an intellectual property (IP) investment advisory firm. He is the past chairman of the US Patent and Trademark Office Public Patent Advisory Committee.
He has served as vice president of IP strategy for IBM. Before that, he worked at Boston Consulting Group. In addition, he is the founder, chief executive officer and chairman of Aurigin System. He holds more than 40 patents and has authored several national and international publications such as Rembrandts in the Attic.
Tessera invests in, licenses and delivers miniaturization technologies for next-generation electronic devices.
