Multispectral Camera on Spacecraft

A multispectral imager built by FluxData Inc. of Rochester, N.Y., was launched into space aboard the Japanese HTV-2 transfer vehicle on Jan. 22, 2011. Headed to the International Space Station (ISS), it will be installed in the Window Observation Research Facility by the ISS crew. A component of the ISS Agricultural Camera, it was developed by students and faculty at the University of North Dakota in Grand Forks in support of their Upper Midwest Aerospace Consortium research efforts.Read full article
